Enjoy this unforgettable astronomical experience using professional telescopes on the edge of Exmoor National Park

What to expect: 

- enjoy a warming 2-course meal experience - homemade soup with warming crusty bread and butter / dessert: home baked cake

- Liz and Gary will guide you to spot planets, nebulae, galaxies, constellations through our telescopes and binoculars

- Be guided how to use Stellarium (free app)

- Enjoy our Indoor Show of NASA imagery, tips and tricks on how to stargaze cheaply at home 

- Tuck into a warming hot drink

- Take home a free Dark Skies Pocket Guided provided by Exmoor National Park

- If rainy or cloudy: we still go ahead with our Indoor Show!

Do we have to walk far: No, we step immediately out into the concrete yard with three telescopes

What do I wear: Dress warm, with sturdy walking boots/shoes (no open toes!)

What do I bring: Head torch with red and white light (not essential), download Stellarium app/ SkyView/ SkyMap for free, telescope / binoculars (not essential)

Dietary: Gluten free/vegan upon request

Is there a toilet: yes, we have a disabled toilet with baby changing. Hand washing stations are in the immediate vicinity.

Is the area wheelchair/pram accessible: Yes, we can watch the stars immediately outside the barn in the flat concrete yard

Can I bring a dog: yes, well-behaved dogs allowed. No dogs from Dangerous Dogs Act 1991

Can I bring my own drinks: yes, this is a BYOB event
