Pickled herring in a sour cream sauce “Śledzie”

delicate slices of juicy herring fillets, in a sour cream sauce mixed with sweet pickled onions



Beetroot soup “Barszcz” (bar-sh-ch) v

A vibrant, ruby-red beetroot broth, delicately seasoned with garlic, bay leaf, and marjoram served with wild mushroom ravioli “uszka” (ush-kah)




MAINS

Cheesy Potato dumplings “pierogi” V

three cheese dumplings, served with a dollop of sour cream and fried onions. Very filling!



Hunters stew “bigos”

a hearty, 3-day matured, slow-cooked stew of finely shredded sauerkraut and cabbage, simmered with tender cuts of pork, smoked sausage and mushrooms.




DESSERTS




Traditional polish cheesecake “sernik” V

baked with twaróg curd cheese, infused with vanilla and citrus zest, on a buttery shortcrust base, served with cream



Polish apple cake “szarlotka” V

a traditional apple layer cake, spiced with cinnamon and ginger, baked and dusted with a crumble-like topping, served with cream
