Join your Guides, Liz and Gary to spot Saturn, Jupiter, distant Galaxies and fascinating Nebulae through our set of professional telescopes, binoculars and just your naked eye! You. We shall pass round the Stellarium app installed on our Tablet whilst you wait for your starry moment! Park at the Exmoor Upper car park at the Valley of Rocks (next to the toilets) and cross the road to the Cricket Pitch Triangular area (through a wooden gate) using your guiding torch light Dress warmly (thick socks, boots and a buff!!!) as spotting the planets can be a labour of love whilst we let everyone have a turn at looking through the telescopes. So bring a warm flask and someone to share great joy with! FAQ Where do we Park Valley of Rocks Upper car park, EX35 6JH (next to the public toilets, cattle grid) Where do we meet: Cricket Club Triangle Pitch (through a large wooden gate). Look out for torches. Can I bring dogs: Yes, well behaved dogs on leads, please. No dogs on Dangerous Dogs Act please. Please clear up after your dog immediately. This is an active Cricket Club field. What do I bring / wear: A head torch is advised, but not essential. Warm layers and sturdy warm walking shoes or boots! bring binoculars if you have a pair. How long will we be standing: You can come and go as you please within the hour. We will try and let all guests spot Saturn, Jupiter, Orion's Nebula and Andromeda Galaxy, The Plough, Cassiopeia, Bode's Galaxy and Cigar galaxy. You'll spot shooting stars and some satellites above! Can I bring anything to eat/drink: We advise no alcohol please, but feel free to bring warm flasks and a snack if you're hungry.
